OT Motorcycle engine question

Maybe you guys have an idea how it is done. Background story...

My son recently bought a Honda CB360 and how is a little disappointed with the power. He wants to mill the head & raise the compression at which he feels that will solve his power issues.

Years ago I read an article where the the cylinder was resleeved with the liners from a CB450, and the cubic inches increased beyond a normal over-bore.

It appears from what I have found, that the 450 has a larger piston pin.

So, any ideas of how this was done?

Probably used a Wiseco piston.

mount a bigger (more teeth) rear sprocket to multiple the TQ to help acceleration...

the stock motor is within about 10% of what it ever can be (with only 360cc's) and "everything" is engineered to work precisely together to attain the HP per cube it does have...

at best possible,,,, raising CR will only gain 4% over the stock HP and that's not enough HP gain for the risk and effort and expense...

back in 67 i traded my hillman wagon for a 300 honda.we called em 305 super hawk. it was set up to drag.it had little short handle bars and the rear wheel was set back a few inches.that little bike was purdy dang quick. i dont know what all was done to it but it did have biger carbs on it from a 450.found that out when i had to put it in the shop.it ran strong but didnt live long.it beat all the bikes close to its size by quite a bit.but i didnt beat the 450.
