Our New Hero Card Design

Been working on this for a day or two now. I'm not a graphic designer but thought it turned out ok.

Maybe I just don't "get it", but I was sorta expecting a pic of Boston paramedic or a marathon runner or a Boston-area cop......

This seems like an advertisement for something ???

Not hardly advertising at all and your misconception of the title is ridiculous. This is a hotrod site, not Yahoo or CNN.
While the bombing was in fact sad, there are other things happening in my world that I am more interested in.

Dave, I think this design is for a collector card of driver Chris Desselle of WAR (Wingless Auto Racing.) You probably interpreted the WAR as having a military meaning.
S10, for not being a graphic designer, that's a really neat card design!

Thank you, glad someone knew what it was, he's my son. We just got into the Sprint car racing late last year, With only 6 races under his belt, he's ranked 9th in points out of 23 drivers. He still has a lot of learning to do though. It helps that Danny "The Dude" Lasoski lives about 20 miles from us and they have been friends for quite some time. We also miss the late Jesse Hockett from Warsaw, Mo. Thanks again for the compliment.
