Our "T-Fever Fred" in an accident??

A day or so ago, someone at Team Chevelle posted a pic of an accident involving a T-bucket.
T-bucket hit a squad car.

Today, I just looked at the thread again, and someone had posted a link to "jalopy journal.com" I think, and imagine my surprise when T-Fever explained what had happened.

Apparantly the officer had made a left turn in front of T-Fever, and also accused him of running a red light.

FWIW---if you turn left in front of someone, you will be at fault wether or not they run a red light-----This is called unsafe left turn.
(this will not apply to a left turn signal that has been on for a moment)

(my daughter did this----the other driver was un-insured, on a suspended license, in someone else's car-----and ran a DEAD RED light going fast enough to tip my daughter's car on it's side. My insurance had to pay for everything-----Stacey started her left turn after two lane of oncoming traffic had STOPPED, and she was hit by a speeding car in the right lane, that was not visible when she started her turn.)

Fred---hope everything is okay with you.

Bryan

Fred had some problems with some of the racial overtones in a post that couldn't be resolved. He's a great guy and is missed here. I truly hope he is OK and he eventually return here while he rebuilds his 'bucket after the City of Houston satisfies their debt to him.

Not to get off subject, but I obviously missed that one.

This is not true in CA, and I doubt its true anywhere else, either...

I turned left on a green turning light in front of a police car while he was busy typing on his computer going way too fast with no flashing lights on.

Guess who's fault it was?

When I hopped out of the car to find a witness right after the accident every single car at that light made a beeline out of there and left me standing in the intersection.

Thanks alot!

On a side note, I counted 6 police cars parked on side roads lining my route home which was less than 2 miles from the accident site, one tailed me four cars back in a undercover car until I turned onto my cul-de-sac. Good thing I didn't have a burnt out bulb from the accident!

I also counted 12 cars that stopped to see if the officer was alright while I waited locked in the back of the Sgt's car waiting to give my statement. With two officers in each car I figure 24 officers scrutinized my vehicle inside and out looking for infractions etc.

I found out the officer lived close by and must have slipped home to do something while on patrol, I didn't think it was wise to take it to court to dispute the 100% my fault charge.

I don't need him checking me everyday.

The Winnipeg Police Service is well known for its officers transgressions. I figured I didn't need to be a target, it only cost me $200 to stay out of the limelight.

In Kansas, turning left in front of on-coming traffic is called "failure to yield right of way." Don't ask me how I know.

So is it illegal to Aim for them when they make a left or try to get to the median while I'm doing 55 MPH?

The girl that hit my 68 Impala (big car) spun me 270 deg. in the intersection. She was driving a Mustang II (little car). Did not hit the brakes at all, so they really couldn't tell how fast she was going. Not that it mattered, because it was my fault for failing to yield. She could have easily avoided the accident. Answer your question?
