overdrive toploader for 1964 f-100

OK,I'm asking all around the town,What is the name/number of the tranny that(1)has a better than 1:1 top gear and(2)has a better than 6:00(granny)low gear,and will fit my truck(will I need to re-invent the wheel to pull this off)?

I don't think you are going to find a four speed overdrive you could possible find some thing like this

or you could try to find an NV4500 but be aware that the closing of the New Venture factory the used ones are demanding top dollar for parts. All of the parts were proprietary and there is no way for them to made by any one else. You also could try to find a browny splitter box. Good luck on that option to I have been looking for a 3 speed one for years.

Those have either a RUG or a RAT tag on them and came in mid 70's or so Ford vans and pickups..they are a 3 speed with overdrive toploader style tranny..I have one going in my project car..
