I watch every episode of Overhaulin. What a fantastic great show, until lately. Did anyone watch the 91 Ford Explorer redo with the crew from APC. I couldn't beleive Foose would associate himself with these *** monkeys. The Explorer looked better before they touched it. APC should stay with the "Pimp my ride" types rather than actually doing real hotrodding. Chip Foose is a class act, whatever were the producers thinking getting involved with a company like APC. I always had the impression that Overhaulin was slanted to real gearhead hotrodder crowd. Some of the last few episodes have been very lame. Most of the recent car builds feature car owners who wouldn't know a muffer from a cylinder head. What gives at The Learning Channel! Comments welcome.

What is APC? I am a Foose fan, but rarely watch the show anymore, too silly for my taste, too much drama sometimes also. the stealing the car thing, overboard.

I haven't watched that show for a long time. So it's still on the air are they old or new episodes?

APC stands for American Products Company, They make the "iced" tailights and goofy body kits for Honda's etc. I do not know when this episode was filmed but it sure did not portray APC in a positive light. They Overhauled a Ford explorer which actually ended up looking worse than it did stock. Looked like a "Donk" Car, You know like a mid 70's chevy with 24" wheels. The paint looked like the vehicle had been vandalized. Overhaulin is a great show, it's just that this episode was a real cluster.

Overhaulin' is done-out of production, and Foose has moved on although we still have re-runs! Yes, it was lame sometimes, but I still liked some of them-

From what Ive noticed most of the car shows like overhaulin start out good and really geared toward hot roddin but I guess the paper pushers step up in the name of show business and ratings and they all fall off after a couple of seasons.

Overhaulin' went the opposite way, this Explorer build was one of the early episodes, first season from what I remember. Some of the best builds they did came later on in the series.
