Is Overhaulin cancelled?

I've seen some posts stating that Overhaulin has been cancelled, but Googled the show and see no mention of that? Anyone know for sure?

Mark

Although, I hope it is not canceled... I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

I mean look at what they are working with...

1 week of continuous work where people are totally exhausted... Thousands of dollars of materials put into each car and nothing really going back into the show... and they give the car back to the owner.

at least American choppers often sells their bikes and American hotrod sells their cars... although I don't like these shows as much as overhauling, they retain more money to keep things going.

That's my guess...

Here is the poop on OverHaulin http://community.discovery.com/eve/f...5/m/6381937898

Overhaulin is coming back BUT the producer will not be Bud. It is still going to be called Overhaulin and feature Chip but Chris will now be one of the builders and there are no pranks. In otherwords people who send in applications and get picked actually get lead in on the build to create exactly what the mark wants. Hope this helps
Kevin

Ive actually seen the Honda that they overhauled and it look very bad in person. I was good friends with the state smog referee and he brought it in because the original owner got it impounded and he bought it at auction. There was so many rattles in that car it was extremely annoying. I don't know if you remember but they did a molded lip on the trunk like a BMW and it was very wavy. The worst parts was it wasn't smog legal so the guy couldn't drive it. It had a motor swap form an OBD2 vehicle but it was an OBD1 with all the original wiring. I kind of felt bad for the guy.

cool I hated that show with all their B/S etc.
they lost alot of viewers because it was always the same ol drama stuff.
little rich cali kid ect. gets his car made over.
cmon go to the little guys around the country and do something for them.
specially the guys and girls in the military.

I've hardly ever seen the show, haven't had cable for years, but wasn't too interested in it the times I saw it. This is a better example of "overhauling".
