You should be running "on the thermostat" 168-170* maximum. Higher than that indicates insufficient cooling capabilities.= Your engine is producing more heat than the system can dissapate.

That could be your problem anything made by Mr Gasket in my opinion is JUNK!
If it says Mr gasket on it I will not buy it.
