Own 1981 Silverado 1/2 ton heavy duty pickup truck

HI, Im a girl with a truck that I love. I have owned it for 15 years and and it runs better than a new one, but the linkage locked up and Im gonna fix it. I live in Florida and there are a lot of bad machanics who damage your vichicle on purpose just to keep you coming back. I wont let anyone work on this truck. So wish me luck!
