Own a 426 Hemi for $50!!

Look what just came on the market ! Hope it is better designed that the old Visible V8. I had three or 4 of those pieces of junk and they all self destructed after a few minutes of running. Brittle over stressed parts just broke all over the model.

Hmm.... Interesting. You ever own an engine model from testors before? Or were the ones that blew-up made by other companies? MY experience with testors has been pretty good, no complaints.

When have I EVER been guilty of being balanced!?! I forgot, some of you guys are fairly new to the scene. Back in the 60s Renwal released the 1/4 scale Visible V8, obviously based on the Chevy small block. Note the tranny is a 4-speed, dual range hydro! There was an electric motor in the starter motor that turned the engine. All the parts moved including the valves and distributor that 'fired' grain of wheat red light bulbs in the cylinders. Worked super until the camshaft snapped in half, or the flimsy distributor bracket snapped off, or one of the crank journals snapped off or . . .

Later Revell picked up the molds and has re-released it several times over the years. None of the releases have structural improvements so they all self destruct within a few minutes of running.

Were just playing with ya willy. We thought you were serious untill we saw it was a toy.

I had one of those revell kits before, I dont remember much about it, so that probably means it didnt last long
