Yeah, I wouldn't let them touch the car, go there with a tow truck and take it. It's like a jerk I had once that I had to give the car back to him, I called the tow truck, paid for the tow, told them were it was going and after he left I THEN called the jerk to tell him it was on the way. That way there is no decisions, he can't talk you out of it, you made up your mind and you are taking the car. Call the machine shop they will have all the shops they do business with in a nice little row from good to bad in their head. They will tell you of the best place they have done business with. It's a shame you have no where to do it, pulling the tank and the master cyl is easy stuff.
