Owner history

I have a pre 81 car,so CARFAX is out. Any easy way to find owner history? Have questions about certain changes to the car, when and why.

Pretty hard to find out other than tracking down from the previous owner that you bought from.

You could ask us, we might be able to figure out these changes from what we know about the stock vehicle.

Thanks. Didn't know if the DMV would give that kind of info.

It has a newer motor. Some different things done to the body. Just curious when and why some things were done.Been in a couple of accidents. The car is a 65 Corvette. The hood support is on the wrong side for the year.Trying to find when/where/why this was done.Just my curiosity,I guess.
