p-17 Rocket says Hi Ya All
This forum looks like a cool place for hotrod info and friends. I have been into cars all my life, growing up with a Dad who was a mechanic, car dealer and hotrod guy. He and I built my 1st car when I was 13, a 33 chevy 2-dr master sedan. Purchased my 1st 57 chevy in 1960 and was lucky enough to have a bevy of 57 chevys after that. Took a lot of years off to raise kids and got back into the scene about ten years ago. I have a friend in Omaha Frankie Corritore who builds the kind hotrods, customs, bikes, etc. Being around him lit the fire and I haven't looked back since. Forums like this board have really been a road of success in builds because of the networking to find parts etc. that were almost impossible to find before. Interest in this sport/hobby is at an all time high, making me wish I was younger to have more years of it. I lean strongly to traditional 40's-50's-60's styling. Appreciate all rides but not much for billet, big wheels, painted bumpers, etc. Also love music, especially rockabilly, blues, western swing, and good old rock and roll. I belong to a local group The Roadburners who all build in the traditional style.. Looking forward to my new project a 1956 Plymouth Suburban Station Wagon 2-door. We are starting on the body and interior this next month. Looking for some parts and will post on that soon. I am a retailer with a vintage clothing store, where we sell vintage furniture, lamps, posters, stickers, hats, clothing, with a hotrod oriented attitude. I also have a 49 Plymouth 2-dr fastbak waiting in the garage. So here we go!! Appreciate being allowed on board-Larry
