p/b 727 torqueflight transmission

Installed deep oil pan on my p/b 727 torqueflite transmission.How much should be cut off dipstick tube to make dipstick read right?

The dipstick should read right no matter what pan you use. If you wanted it to have only the same amount, you would need a longer dip stick.

This has nothing to do with your question but if you installed a used deep pan you bought some where you need a filter (pick up) extension!!!! just in case you didn't get one with your pan !!!!! This is very important or you will destroy your trans.
