Many years ago the Pacer front end was popular but NOW ... Pacer parts are difficult to find and even more difficult to pay for when you do.

I suggest finding something else.

Nova, 78 Monte or IFS kit. Gibbons used to make a kit for a Cordoba swap but I don't know of any Pacer kit.

Deuce is right about parts and availability (esp. the rack)

easy enough to put in though and plenty heavy duty...
only "kit" i'm aware of is a Chassis engineering one for 47-54 chevy pu's....

Here is a pretty easy option that ends up looking factory stock, parts are everywhere and is not that hard to do. I did this installation over a week of evenings after work.

The best subframe option for 55-58 trucks in my opinion is the 70-81 camaro/firebird subframe. It has been done many times, is well documented in several locations and works well.

The pacer is not the best option.

The following link may help you. No Limit Engineering also sells a video of how to do this swap but my opinion is it could be better in some areas but is still helpful.
