paint mistake

well, made a pretty bad mistake I think...had my engine painted gloss black in the roadrunner....shouldve gone with satin black. I think it looks cheap..not the tough look I wanted...the shop owes me a favor so the paint job was free but now its painted...they put some kind of sealent over it.....cant change it now right?

Probably clear coated it. One way to find out is to ask them what they used. What year is the RR and why did you paint the engine black? I guess you're not interested in keeping it close to the original look?

I wonder if it will look better with time.

When I do anything from painting the walls in the house to installing new valve covers it seems to take me some time to get used to the new look.

The idea of gloss black sounder cool and may lose some of the sheen over time.
