paint opinion for front axle

Hi, I have a fenderless 36 chevy truck with a suicide drop axle. I am painting the cab, frame, and bed john deere blitz black with a flat white firewall. Was thinking about painting the front axle and and chassis parts semi gloss black or white? Any opinions? Pictures would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I redid my long gone T-bucket in gloss Imron black. Looked good for 10K more miles when it was sold. Unfortunately I don't have a digital photo of that part of the car. I ground and filled the welds and any rough areas, did a Variprime (correct for the time) prime then shot it. Today, would have used an epoxy primer then BC/CC.

This is the car just before selling it and the only digital photo I have of it. Possibly that can give you an idea.

Black is customary for chassis parts but red looks real cool on a fenderless car as well..Or what ever other color that may suit you..

I think the white would look better than the black
It would be a lot more work to keep clean and touch up if you did any later work/changes, compared to the black

If it's a driver the black would be much easier to care for. I kind of remember white painted rearend housings back in the shackles and air shocks days. They looked cool for a couple of weeks till the rock chips and road oil took over.
