Paint parts in order....??

Morning all,
Got another question to make you painters roll your eyes Hoping to get some epoxy in the cab area of my Panel this morning. My thought is : 1) paint all the hard to reach places UNDER the dash and firewall area,
2) Paint the other metal parts in the cab
3) Paint the floor
4) Paint the dash last, (thinking I can take care of any overspray from the other areas and not having to mask the dash. I know it's only primer, however this is the same sequence I was going to do the topcoat of paint, soooo I figured I could practice with the primer and learn which areas are most logical to do; first to last.
Thanks for your patience and knowledge,
James

...decided to do the floor last due to accessability and wanting to get it all finished today; will finish the floor later today. Real pain painting under the dash....do you guys use a regular gravity feed to get under there? Seems very tight for a regular gun....

I've fell in love with harbor freight's detail gun (its a pressure pot design) for tight places like that. Does that dash not come out? that's usually the best route to go if it's not welded in. and yes, you most always want to do the floor last (I've used static grab plastic sheeting on the floorpan area to keep overspray off of it when spraying bc/cc.

What is the off white color that I see on the dash? epoxy? it looks a LOT like sherwin williams aerospace epoxy that I've been using on my 50.

Bowtie, do you mean the first pic? That is actually the gloss yellow I sanded down before I primed. The paint was over 20 yrs. old. If you look at my Journal, you'll see what it looked like before. Hard to take pics of the primer, it always washes out in the flash or looks more brown than black in the pics..The black epoxy is Kirker. Sprayed the cab using several Preval sprayers from Home Depot.
