paint prep.
ok guys... I'm back. I used to be a frequent on here but for a while, I really didn't have any projects going for me. now i'm working on a 1977 Ford LTD land yacht. Plans are to redo the interior in black and brushed aluminum, with a flat black paintjob all around with some white pinstripes/tribal stuff...not sure yet. I'm only 17 and this is still pretty new to me. Any advice on prepping the body before I rattle can this thing(yes I said rattle can...this is a budget beater). Also, what could I use to help protect the paint but still have a flat finnish? Thanks for any help in advance.
