Paint Quality

Anyone tried the Transtar brand? How does it compare to other second line brands?

I haven't tried it but have heard good things about it.
There are some body shops around town here that use it all the time,
I'm going to try it too, it must be at least as good or better as the other
low cost brands that I've been using.

transtar

I have been using the transtar 6401 ez sand 2K primer for a few years now and have had excellent results with it so far. It is very easy to sand and fills in very nicely, it also sticks like glue. Cost is about $80 per gallon with the hardener and is a 4 to 1 mix. Would highly reccommend it to anyone.......HTH.
