Paint recommendations for Corvette

I've got a 1989 Corvette that I'm gonna get painted at a tech school as I plan on selling it within a year. It is black and has been repainted by the PO. It has some crows feet on the driver door and a million micro white specs on the front nose area. Probably from rocks hitting it. So, I'll have them strip the whole car.

The shop usually uses Dupont. But I'm not interested in spending $1k on paint.

So far I've been recommended SPI which is also priced right. So, it looks like SPI Epoxy on the stripped body. Then probably SPI 2k as I'm sure they probably won't get the Epoxy flat enough to paint on?? Then probably SPI 2k black sealer.

I had been deciding bc/cc or single stage for black. I've been told to go with single stage which is also cheaper than bc/cc. Though SPI isn't doing colors anymore. So, I've been recommended Motostorm single stage Black Ice.

Any tips or recommendations?

Though, it looks good driving around:

Thinking about waiting till it starts warming up as it sits outside. Though, after it does get painted. I'm thinking of putting it in one of those large storage units for at least a month. As that would let the paint finish curing without leaves, bird boop, and rain hitting it, etc.

I figured I'd make a post here to see if anyone has any other tips or recommendations.

Placing the thing in a storage unit will hurt it as far as curing, as it will get no UV's.

Oh, ok thanks. So, how long does the car need to sit outside to cure?
