Smile Paint samples

I like to do airbrushing tanks and hoods and need several colors of paint but in small samples. I can't see spending big money on a pint of paint. Any ideas where to get small samples?

As far as buying less than a pint I don't know of any places that sells paint that would do that. At least not in this neck of the woods. What you might do is hook up with your local body shop and ask them if you could get some samples smaller than a pint. You may have to invest in a supply of jars so you have something they could put it in. Sometimes there is paint left over and some body shops mix their own. If you do run across a place be sure to let everyone know. You might also check with dealer bodyshops and see what it would take to get touch-up bottles. They are about the size of fingernail polish bottles. Those could end up being rather expensive though. Good luck.

here is a list of airbrush suppliers can be found on web search:
airbrush depot
bear air
black gold inc. ( arlington. tx.)
coast airbrush ( will also convert seals to teflon as some of the airbrushes come with orings that shrink up & deteriorate, most full time auto airbrushes end up back at House of Kolor as it is simply the best paint & colors = less hassles)
if new start practicing with old tshirts, bedsheets, then on to paper- butcher paper works good, then hard surfaces as they can't absorb & get blowout factor more) also badger has new line water base -Imaginair line good colors. dont be afraid to dillute any paint for airbrush, water for latex, reducer for auto paints. some of latest pics at wwwart4urhog.com are badger stuff.
keep it smooth jwart
