Paint-Savers clear nylon washers
I'm looking for a source for Paint-Savers(tm)-type clear nylon washers to use under screws and bolts to prevent marring the painted surface.
I know that Paint-Savers(tm) is a trademark name, but I can't find a source on Google. Does anybody have a source for this type of washer? Thanks, Hoyt |

I am not finding them either. All I am finding is what are called "plastic fender washers". Some are made for pinball machines apparently.
Example: http://www.bigdaddy-enterprises.com/forsale/washers.htm These are 1/16" thick polycarbonite and come in different sizes. Don't know if that is anywhere close to what you are looking for or not. |

I usually pick them up at Home Depot or Lowes. They are in the drawers in the hardware area.

I've seen the thick, opaque nylon washers, but never thin, clear washers.
I'll check it out tomorrow. Thanks |
