Paint-Savers clear nylon washers

I'm looking for a source for Paint-Savers(tm)-type clear nylon washers to use under screws and bolts to prevent marring the painted surface.

I know that Paint-Savers(tm) is a trademark name, but I can't find a source on Google.

Does anybody have a source for this type of washer?

Thanks,
Hoyt

I am not finding them either. All I am finding is what are called "plastic fender washers". Some are made for pinball machines apparently.

Example:

These are 1/16" thick polycarbonite and come in different sizes. Don't know if that is anywhere close to what you are looking for or not.

I usually pick them up at Home Depot or Lowes. They are in the drawers in the hardware area.

I've seen the thick, opaque nylon washers, but never thin, clear washers.

I'll check it out tomorrow. Thanks

That's them! I placed and order today.

I did find the thin nylon washers at Lowe's; they were in the drawers with the nylon screws. i purchased a few, but the clear polycarbonate washers are what I wanted.

Thanks guys!

Hoyt
