Paint scheme help!!

Ok folks, its finally come to that time. PAINT!!!!!!

Its a 36 chevy truck, fenderless, flat black. I want to paint the firewall white, but i cant decide where to break it off on the cowl. Any pictures or opinions? Thank you!!

Is it moulded together? If it is stock I would simply break it at the seam where the firewall welds to the cowl sides and top.

Yes, the weld seam should be far enough back
so the white will not show when the hood is
on. Maybe 3/4" or so....

do something different then anyone else do it checkerboard pattern

Or if you will not be running a hood... have the white come around onto the sides and turn into scallops! :-) Maybe include a pinstriped edge?
