Paint schemes....again. :)

Hey, comrades, it’s me with my true unlucky question: somebody can help create overwhelming paint scheme for ’59 Caddy? Details I’ll notify after that, or will be as in past times. Or I just put this question or incorrect sections…

You need to pick out your own color's...

Like your asking a man to order your steak to his likeing...not a good idea. Find something on another car you like and copy it then.

Main idea in finding man, who big in that, and consider it already with him.

Id say alot of colors look good with red. It just depends on what you want. personally Id think the red would look good with black, grey, silver, or white.
But for some ideas for the whole scheme, its really what your want it to look like. You can make it look like it did originally, with something like a two tone paint job(red and white) or you can make it look complety different and go wild with it. Like have flames painted on the side of it. To help find ideas, I would just search the internet for pictures of different cars. They don't have to be caddys. You can look at custom trucks, hotrods, or ricers.

Well personally I don't think that bird would be to good for a caddy. It was for that car, putting that same bird on a different car would be the same as putting a Chevy bowtie on a mustang. I was talking more like pin stripes, flames, racing stripes things that don't really specify the make of the car. Look up some import tuner cars, some of them have some neat paint job ideas.

Go with a combo of candy copper, black and a dark grey... or anything else that you might like.

I did not mean THAT bird. I meant similar style pic on hood. Caddy’s hood is perfect place for it. About import tuners, I don’t think, that their schemes would be good for Caddy, cause Caddy, turned in Road Warrior even among serious musclecars looks like “Executor” or eve Death Star among Star Destroyers…stop. DAMN! I GOT IT! What, if paint large stylised Imperial emblem on hood, or other outstanding place?

Three-tone paint job is great idea. And I checked out your suggestion: copper body with black lower part and gray stripes looking cool.
I see pic of nice truck (highway tractor truck, I meant), silver with red hood and upper part of cab , with dark blue stripes...

The total

So, we have two ways: triple-tone paint job or custom (I think it would be customizing) with Imperial theme.

Sounds like you got a plan. Another thing that would be cool, is if you carried that empeirial them to the interior, like put that same symbol in the headliner. I think that would be pretty sweet, Wish I thought of that for my truck since Im a big star wars geek to.

You came here earlier, than I thought...

My thoughts.
Large burned or encircled by lightings Imperial sign on hood.
Pinstrips, which looks like Turbolaser beams.
Taillights trim, which make it more similar on ISSD thrusters.
Damn, milliseconds of inspiration go away...why you leave me!

OK, I'll think still..

Pretty cool idea. How much will a mural cost you? That is a big factor whenever applying one to a car.I have never checked into the cost on one since I would not put one on my type of ride, but those lowrider cats have it down to a science. If I am ever in a city that has a large lowrider scene I will check it out.Murals of everything from Jesus to Chicks with swords, man those are some sweet designs.

As far as color goes, like Tazz said, find something that works, you would not want to spend a load of money on a paint job just to find out that it does nt appeal to your eye.If you were to do a Imperial theme,I would use black as my primary color and have accents of red, deep, dark red.How to describe this? Make it as though red is the underlying color and is cracking through the black.Another way to describe it is you are on the outside of a window which is painted black, solid black.Inside the room which you can not see is a bright red light on,if you were to crack, but not shatter the window, the red would filter through so you couls see traces of the red.Get it? I hope so because I have almost confused myself.
