Paint Stripping

Hi: My first time posting.

I have a 1965 Comet Cyclone and a 1931 Model A Ford Pickup that I am restoring.

I have completely restored the Model A from the ground upand I am now in the body stripping process. I have used both stripper and grinding with 80 discs.

My questions are: Since I have to do the stripping to bare metal over some weeks, I have been using "OSPHO" as I complete an area. Will this protect the metal for several weeks while I finish the rest of the car??

Once I get ready to prime the car, the Ospho seems to have some small bumpy areas in it. Should I rough the entire area with a scuff pad or just wash it down with mineral spirits or lacquer thinner before priming???

Is Epoxy Primer the best way to go??

Has anyone used Aluminum Oxide to pressure blast areas on the interior of their cars??? Floorboards, side panels, windshiled posts, etc.

Thanks very much for your help.
Tony Halaska Ft. Lauderdale

PS: I am very much a novice in the body work & painting arena's.

Paint stripper!

Well I've used its called airplane stripper for all my stripnig duties it is very toxic so do it with gloves and a mask but it will take it all the way to the metal just read the directins good before using it works great as for your metal prep I've never heard of it but I usually use metal conditioner and wipe it down with thinner and then light prime the area for keeping good till you can get to it again the brown is better than the gray or blck primers!
