This is a way to handle doors.


Get a piece of pipe that fits your engine stand. Weld a plate to it, with holes that fit a plate that bolts to the door.

This is the plate that bolts to the door, and the engine stand adapter. you flip the plate over for right, and left doors.

That's a good one for painting a door, put some spacers on long bolts so you can paint behind the bracket.

That friend of mine who worked in the mortuary, I will never forget him showing me that table, this was one of the very oldest buildings in the town and the equipment they had was original. That table was enameled cast iron! Above the table was sky light up in a tunnel with bars going across the opening to hand the bottles of embalming fluid for a gravity feed in the years before pumps.

I imagine the next time I "see" one of those I will be laying on it.
