Painted some flames on my hood this weekend

Please be kind, I'm a first timer I only had time to get the hood done this week because I ran out of blue fine line tape and couldn't get anymore till last night

Give it to me straight, what do you guys honestly think??

I think they look really nice. Certainly a lot nicer than what I could come up with.

you ask and you shall recieve......

The lay out looks really good. The red or orange is a little blotchy. I would not have painted the very front or bottom at the front of the hood with the red or orange, just about 2/3 up the flame and at the circle or division, then misted the tips with a bright blue, and a blue pin strip outline all the way around. And I never try to match both sides of a panel.

But hey every one does them different, thats what makes them custom. For the first time they look good.

Excellent patterns, I have a feeling the "blotchy" look is grainy photo. But either way, very cool.

Is that a chopped top I see?
