Painted wheel opinions

I have decided to keep my steel wheels and paint them for budget and style reasons. The body is a GM torch red. I have considered painting them body color, but also a contrasting color like black or gold. Interested in opinions. I will use a chrome center cap with a spinner and lugs. Possibly a beauty ring.

Second opinion/question would be whether to paint or powder coat the wheels.

Thanks for chiming in.

I'm kind of partial to the argent silver,I think it would look real good with the red.
I dont care much for gold wheels (unless there on a black Trans Am)

If they are GM styled steel wheels they belong silver, anything else looks out of place IMHO.
