Painting 1969 Chevy C20
Hey guys, I am in the middle of a restoration with my 69 C20, I will be painting the truck myself. I dont have a paint booth or anything and was just wanting to ask you all for some ideas on at home paint booths or anything like that. Thanks I appreciate it

Are you painting it in your garage? Here is link to a you tube video of someone who built a portable booth for his garage. Make sure you have very good lighting.
If you are up north with cold weather, you will have some kind of heating. You should be able to search for info on that here. If you are painting outdoors, I have had good success with one of those $150 carports with screening to keep bugs out. But I live in South Florida where it is warm. Make sure you have respiratory protection, at least an organic vapor cartridge mask or better yet, a fresh air supplied system. Also, a paint suit is not a bad idea also, I wear one along with gloves and my supplied air system. |
