my paint steps

fix any bad spots filler glaze ect...
2 coats primer sometimes with sealer 1.8 2.0 tip gravity guy
wetsand
base coat 2-4 coats 1.4 tip gravity guy 10-15 min flash
clear coat 2-4 coats 1.4 tip gravity guy 10-15 min flash

when i did clear befor i used a 1.8 tip and i looked around and everyone in body shops and custom painting used 1.4 1.3 tip gravity guy.

What was your problem , Orange peel, runs / sags, dry spray , , I like to use a hvlp gun myself and I use a 1.4 for everything I have awsome results, my suggestions is relax get comfortable with the gun spray a couple of test panels, pratice makes perfect , it will come to you, if your getting orange peel open up the flow of paint, same with dry spray , if your problem is runs and sags spray a medium tack coat and wait 15mins to 30 mins before 2nd coat . And remember to keep your gun at least 7" away
