Just because an electric motor is "sealed" does not mean it is explosion proof. Lighting is the same...if it's not rated explosion proof and it's electrical it shouldn't be inside the "booth" area or an area where vapors can build up
All you need is 1 ignition source - poof - there goes the plastic, car and shop!
