Painting Chrome Bumpers and Step Bars
I am looking for advice on painting some chrome pieces. Not really a Hot Rod, but thought you guys would have advice. I want to paint the chrome bumpers and step bars on my 05 Super Duty. I want a slightly satin type black. I am thinking about trying to sandblast or sand and then epoxy coat. Then I would have to paint with some single stage maybe with flattener. I normally use Dupont or Nason. Any adive on what would hold up best? Should I maybe try to have them power coated?

I just DA chrome with 80 grit like I am prepping bare metal and then I like SPI epoxy for its self etch..once that is on then just paint with what you normally use..works for me..
