Painting color chrome

I bought some of the Duplicolor paint that looks like colored chrome in a rattle can. I will say that at first I was able to come up with some pretty horrible looks with very little effort. Lol
But if you put down a good smooth base all I can say is WOW! The spray tip to not good and you get splatters, once you get that I have not been able to fix it but if you are careful the effect is truly stunning. I am looking for this or a similar product that I can use in a spray gun.

What I have learned is that just like real chrome if the base is not perfect the finish will show it. I used black base and did not like the look then tried white and it does look good but the best look is over bare aluminum or spray on chrome paint and let it dry, then put down a clear or the chrome paint will bleed bad. Then scuff and lay on thin coats then clear. I promises if you take you time and do the prep the look is great.

I will try I need to borrow a camera but it looks just like the can lid. I will see if I can get a camera.
I did one part without a clear and dropped it and it came off so you need to protect it for sure.
