Painting Engine Compartment

I have been seriously considering changing the paint color on my 91 Camaro from the Artic White to the Rally or Millenium Yellow that most Caviliers have.

If I do this, I will want to engine compartment painted as well.

I will be pulling the motor & tranny out myself to have them rebuilt.

I was just wondering if someone could roughly tell me what a body shop would charge to paint it after I pulled the engine & tranny?

The heater boxes, wiring harnesses, & everything else would have to be removed by them.

I just want the engine compartment painted right now until I can get the motor & tranny back into it, then I will have the rest of the car painted to match.

Thats a lot of work!
If you want to save money, you take everything off inside the engine compartment.

Being yellow (not cheap) I would guess your going to have $200
in materials pretty easy and labor $1000.??
I know I would not do it for a $1000, so do some shopping.
If you find a shop that is slow, you may get a deal or a painter that does work at home is even better.
