I'm redoing a miniature corvett on . I've stripped all the paint off and done some repaires on the fiberglass and was planning on priming with crossfire 2k high build and painting with crossfire base and clear. I was just worried that the 2k primer would'nt be flexible enough and it might crack later down the road?

2k primer is fine for fiberglass, but as discsussed already, epoxy is best down first. There is a lot of information on fiberglass prep already if you do a search. I am confused what your are painting, miniature corvette what?? True corvettes have been smc for quite a long time now, and you must use products for use with smc, Not all fiberglass resins will work with smc.

I'ts a fiberglass corvett body on a go cart frame. A friend of mine is in the omar jett's and he drives it in parade's. Thank's for the info i think i'll epoxy first and if i need too i'll use 2k .
