painting globe and anchor design on hood of truck

My nephew wants me to paint a globe and anchor on the hood of his truck, it's a 90s ranger. Colors are JDBB hood and tops of fenders to body line. Red globe and anchor. Trouble is, I'm not quite sure what the best order or method is to mask off for this complicated of a design. What would you do?

You have a pattern that should blow up larger quite well....take this image to your local trim and graffic's shop (I assume you have one near by and they can cut you a would need to mask of for each color, but that would be the easiest, unless your talented with an air brush. I've used graffic's from companies in the past and had good results...for full flames on a vehicle, hood and both sides about $160.00.

I've decided that cutting that pattern out would be too much work. So I'm going to fill in the wings, anchor, and leave the America's so that it's not just a circle. That is doable with a pattern, hobby knife, and some tape.

so anyway got the Marine Corps logo painted onto the Ranger hood. Took about seven hours to get the design printed out, cut out, taped, and painted. It would have worked out much better if we had thin tape, but we only had 1 inch tape which we ripped down into strips with an xacto knife. We were pretty satisfied with the result.
