Been painting longer than I like to admit and can't say I've heard of it. Can you include a little more information. Check spelling may be....

Xirallic paint contains special particles that react to light more vividly than normal metallic paint. Sunlight brings the colour alive.

its basicly metallic but like a shimering pearl through it

what my paint guy said was

1. ground coat white
2. xirallic tints
3. clear

here is a link to the site with the colour in hand

Painted a Toyota with something like that a couple months ago. White base, midcoat and clear coat. No problems getting it to flow out and it matched the rest of the car perfectly. Bloody expensive paint though.

I haven't painted any xirallics yet, but have heard of em, and they are increasing in use by auto manufactures. Really how much different can it be then spraying a flake or a pearl in a midcoat. Its a flake plated with a metal oxide, that like turbo says, supposedly has a more intense glitter then a regular metallic.
I think if anything, it sounds like the biggest obstical would be finding a line that has the appropriate tints to mix the color, and give a match if using for a repair. I heard they were pricey. I may be wrong, but a crystal pearl or sems hyperfx are basically xirallics.
Heres a neat little article describing just some of whats out there today. http://pubs.acs.org/cen/coverstory/8...44paints1.html
