Painting plastic motorcyle parts

What paint and primer should i use to paint my black plastic side fairings on my BMW R1200GS? they are in very good shape, just sun faded. I want them to be a powdercoated med silver color. i would guess that I should use a High-Flex, High-Adhesion product.

thanks
John
