Painting Stripes
I painted my barracuda acrylic enamel with hardner added. It originally had 3 white stripes down the middle of the car. One about 6" wide offset by 1" stripes. After reading all the posts, I should have used a BC/CC system, but none the less can anyone outline the steps for stripes using an enamel.

Clean off any wax or grease with a good quality prep/wax and grease remover-Mask off the areas to stripe using a good quality tape; double check for straightness and overlap at seams. Mask the rest of the car to prevent overspray. Scuff the area with a scotchbrite pad or 400-600 paper. Clean well. Spray your color with the same product used for the base color. There WILL be slight edges due to paint thickness where the stripes begin, but then again, so do decals. Take care unmasking and you're set to style!
