Painting stripes

Hey
When I respray my car I'm spraying 'stripes' down the side but I don't know when to spray them. Should I spray my base and then spray the white stripes or should I finish and spray my clear then spray the stripes etc. any help appreciated!
Thanks
Troy

This is dealers choice. You could spray the white first, mask them then base. The ways you mentioned will work to. There is no wrong way really.

If both colors are base , it would be easiest to do both colors then clear over both . Which order to paintyour 2 colors depends on the design , it would probably be easiest to do the stripe first . Just be carefull when you clear because you will give yourself an edge for the clear to hang off of.

In almost all cases rule of thumb, spray the color you'll see the least of first.
