I am painting the original metal trim inside our 70 Camaro and getting a bit fustrated too. I tried painting it once and the gloss black just fish eyed bad on me, so today I thought to take it back down to bare metal and primer then repaint gloss black and the primer is getting fish eyes. Any other prep ideas I should try before I break down and buy new pieces (which I honestly cannot afford).
Thanks thats what I think I am doing wrong. I sanded them down with a fine grit and lightly reprimered them and they look so much better. I will try the repaint again but in lighter coats.
