Panel Material
I have some lower door panel carpets that Im redoing. Theyre made out of 1/8" cardboard. The original cardboard is warped and I really dont want to reuse it.

I need to bind around the edges of the panel so I need to be able to sew through it. Havent tried PVC foam board yet, but Im going to get some for some door panels Im doing. Can I sew through the pvc board or should I stick with some sort of cardboard.

Other idea was to just not sew through the panel, fold the leather over the edge and just glue it. My whole goal is to stay away from cardboard. I want them to last and not warp like the originals Im redoing.

Any advice is appreciated
