I serious doubt that during your 20 years of tech inspections, you failed every panhard bar suspension based on your belief that it's shoddy engineering.
No, some of them were works of art. Those fellows went on to race that day. Some others got put on the trailer and sent home, not necessarily from a CRAP Panhard Bar installation, but a rag is a rag. You are making it sound like I think all Panhard installations are CRAPand I don't remember saying anything like that. But I do have an experienced eye and I can tell CRAP when I see it, no matter what the part or assembly is. If we, as a group, embrace a part or system of parts blindly, whether or not the maker used good engineering principles, then we deserve what we get and are guilty as hell of misleading others on this board.

It's no different from any other article that goes into the making of a motor vehicle. There are established guidelines and rules and regulations for fabricating most anything in the automotive arena. The part or system of parts are either right or they are wrong according to established ways of doing things.

I don't know how I can make my argument any clearer.

I'm really not trying to stir up trouble, but in light of Tech's recent banning because of his racist comments on the Zimmerman thread. It just makes me wonder how many cars he "sent home on a trailer" because of some minor technical issue if the owners of said cars where "spear chuckers". Putting power into the hands of someone with his attitude towards certain people is just a bad idea,IMO.

Can't answer your question, but I don't see anything that shows he's been banned??

Thanks. I don't follow political posts, so never even clicked on the thread involved. Looks like a 30 day suspension, not a ban.
