parallel leafs, or ladder bars & coil-overs?

I'm looking at rear suspension options for my '39 Ford, and have narrowed it down to the following 2 choices:

Pete n Jakes ladder bars & coilovers
Chassis Engineering parallel leaf springs

I read a lot about CE's parallel leafs, that they are relatively inexpensive, and easy to install. HOWEVER, EVERYONE has them, and ride height is hard to adjust with parallel leafs. Plus if you do any racing, you can get spring wrap with leaf springs, unless you run some sort of traction bars.

Now I want something a little different, and I'm looking at PnJ ladder bars with coil overs. However, I haven't read much on them, but it sounds like they ride similar to a 4-bar set-up. Coil-overs allow easy ride height adjustment, and I can tweak the ride quality. Only downside I can think of with ladder bars & coil overs is the cost and installation.

Any thoughts?

Thanks for the input!

EVERYONE can't be that wrong..........

They work well, easy to install and look decent.

I nave got the mono leaf Durant's for my 40 coupe chassis. Not yet under the car. Folks I have talked with say they ride MUCH better than the CE springs..................which are Dodge truck I have been told.

I have a set of brand new leaf springs from the CE kit for sale.........if interested.
