Parking brake 1997 F250

got a little problem here.. on my ford F250 the parking brake doesn't seem to work.. it's real tough to put to the floor.. but once its down there it does nothin.. in my haynes manual it says there none adjustable brakes... has anyone encounterd this?? if so wuts the fix? not sure where to start.. maybe make sure my rear brake pads are ok?

sounds like one of your cables is buggered.

can you get the truck on a lift? i think you're going to have to look under the truck and make sure that everything is working the way it is supposed to. pull your drums and make sure that your brakes are set up properly and make sure that your cables move freely and that everything operates from the pedal back.
