Part number help

Hey All,

During one of my outings to the local salvage yard, I had pulled an exterior door mirror for use on my project truck. I've tried to see if I could find the passenger-side sister (or a set of repo's), but have had no luck so far. What makes it a bit harder is I have no idea what vehicle it would have come off of when new - it's got a Ford (FoMoCo) emblem, but I had pulled it from a '65 Olds F85? (something Oldsmobile with a number for a name). If anyone can help identify this, I would appreciate it.

The cast-in numbers are:

15-3950 EOTB (or it could be E0TB - 'O' vs Zero)
MX 17743-A
C1 B

There's an ebay auction where you can see what it actually looks like (chrome, non-power, non-remote ~4" x 6" glass) at item #190162729733

I've run across a couple other mirrors with the same 17743 part # piece, but the rest of the numbers have been different. What makes this mirror fit so well is that the post is angled upwards (instead of being straight off the mounting surface) maybe about 25-30 degrees.

TIA for any pointers,
- Mike

E0TB 17743 A would be Ford nomenclature for a 1980 pickup truck.

Now that I know what to look for (other than generic Ford door mirror), I see that they are reproduced. <Mr. Burns>Excellent!</Mr. Burns>
