Post parts for 351 windsor

I installed a 351 Windsor engine in my 1970 mustang. Using parts form the Original 302 engine, such as brackets etc. My problem is that the power steering mounting bracket won’t work with the 351 engine, it is about 1” short (the height difference of the 302 to 351), does anyone know where I can get the correct bracket? My local wrecking yard won’t sell parts off of and engine so I’m stuck. Is there a web site that sells original part that I need? I have an early 351 windsor engine

The brackets were the same but there is a small cast plate that bolts to the front of the head on the 351 to lower the bolt hole back to the 302 height. I'm not sure if they kept using them on later engines but I know on the early ones they did, I'll look and see if I can get you a casting number if that would help. If you can't locate one I may have an extra.

Thanks for your input woodz428,

That would be great, I’ll see if I can find one with the casting number. Seems like no one knows what I’m talking about. Not too many ford guys around here

I'm having the same problem, I have a 1983 351W in a 1962 Galaxie ,the power steering mount has 4 holes to bolt it up to the water pump and block, but only two of them will line up with the holes on the engine the other 2 holes are about an inch away from the the holes on the water pump. I have looked at several yards and have only found what I already have The Mount that I have has a number on it D9AC-3C511-BA Does anyone have a different number for a power steering pump mount that I could get so I can call some other yards in hopes of finding one
