pcv valve

i have moroso valve covers that have double k&n breathers. Well my question is
what does the pcv do and should i drill a hole and put one in. would by any chance would it create mor vaccume in the engine?

PCV = Positive Crankcase Ventalation. It pulls blowby gasses back into the engine to be reburned at low to mid throttle when vacuum conditions are present. One benefit of it is it helps keep the oil cleaner, since there are less blowby gasses that will land in the oil, this also helps the engine to last longer since fuel deposits in the oil create more wear and when exposed to the right elements it prevents crud build up. You shouldnt need to drill a extra hole, remove one of the breathers, find the correct gromment and fit it to the PCV valve that is correct to the vacuum level of your engine.
