using a baffled/filtered vent on one valve cover and using a pcv in the opposite cover works great. you can use a rubber hose from the pcv to the carb and it'll vacuum the oil mist out of the motor. look at a stock motor and how they're plumbed. the designers did a pretty good job of engineering the motors and pcv system. follow their example and you'll be just fine. notice though that they don't feed the pcv line into the high vacuum port on your carb, but use a filter in the air filter housing. it's a low vacuum that your air filter housing uses to vent the pcv system.
