sludge penzoil

i have used 10/30 penzoil for years with no problems, if oil is not dirty at change time it is not doing the job. engine must operate at 170 min for the deturgents to work. i put200000on a f150 changed oil every 6000miles pulled a 5th wheel on vacation. no problems. used same oil on chev 1500 sam aplication no oilrelated problem . 1997 f150 with4.6 same deal. also heard that penzoil and quake state now same grp. never used synthetics so no coment . cliff

no offense its just what ive seen, and it was one of my buddies trucks. hell i dont think he ever changed it, but if i had a ford i wouldnt have anything other than pennzoil in it.

I have always used Pennzoil in my old 86 beater Honda. I am about to give it a proper death by driving across the county until it dies or I drive it home. It is about to roll over 300K miles on the original engine. No smoke and still has pep. Maybe all the (sludge) is keeping it running!
